The 2024 edition of the Condé Nast Traveller India x Zomato's Top Restaurant Awards celebrated the country’s vibrant dining scene with a lively event in Mumbai. The gathering brought together culinary stars from across India for an evening of laughter, roasts, and, of course, recognition of the finest in Indian cuisine. Hosted by comedian Rohan Joshi, the evening’s energy was as bold as the flavours on the menu, with Joshi’s witty and unapologetic humor leaving no one unscathed.
This year, the West of India dominated the rankings, highlighting the culinary creativity emerging from cities like Mumbai and Goa.
With nearly 300 restaurateurs, chefs, and food enthusiasts under one roof, the awards not only celebrated Indian gastronomy but also underscored the sense of community and camaraderie within the industry. The awards night felt less like a competition and more like a celebration of culinary ingenuity across India, making it clear that the country’s food scene is thriving like never before.
